Taunton Christmas Lights Switch On

Somerset Road Safety, working alongside Avon and Somerset Constabulary, will be in Taunton town centre on Sunday 20 November as part of the big Christmas lights switch on.

Staff will be on hand with a community safety vehicle throughout the day to answer questions and to provide information about all aspects of road safety.

As part of our ‘Be bright, be seen’ campaign you can pick up a free hi-viz rucksack cover (while stocks last).

There will also be the opportunity to take part in some practical simulation exercises to highlight the dangers of drinking and driving, which is all part of our upcoming Christmas campaign.
